Wall area calculator
Estimate the net area of rectangular walls before asking for a plastering specification.
Your planning notes
Assumptions and limits
Net wall area = combined length × common height minus openings. Group walls of the same height; calculate other heights separately. Excludes ceilings, reveals, returns, curves and waste. It does not specify plaster quantities, board counts, coats or drying time. Damp, loose backgrounds and suspect textured coatings require assessment before work.
